Easter - celebration of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection

Good Friday — celebrating crucifixion of Jesus

Jesus died on the cross as the act of Atonement.

This paid the price for human sinfulness and restored the relationship between humanity and God.

Jesus rose from the dead following his death on the cross.

This is seen as victory over death, giving hope to Christians for eternal life.
