• Keratinocyte cell- makes protein kerotin, most abundent cell in skin, found all layers of epidermis

• melancyte- makes protein melanin which provides protection of UV radiation and the main factors of pigement in the skin, found in statum basle

• langerhan cell - specalized white blood cell there are 2 types, macrophage which is non specific or phagocytic which engulfs the pathogen and is found in all layers

• merkel cell- the senesory receptor that communicates with the nervous system, found in statum basle layer
