This is an industry that recruits globally. It is incredibly competitive. If you aren’t an efficient artists, you better be great at 3D.
The industry is looking for high quality female talent. They are looking for diversity of story. Serving a foreign mission, learning another language, gives you an advantage.
We don’t care about what style you draw in as long as you’re able to draw from life. You gotta adapt.
Be expressive, exaggeration tells more truth than the rigid truth.
Your shading/tone/color can not make up for your proportions.

Personal Thoughts:
Make this a matter of prayer.
I want to bring back minimum dialogue 2D animation. Charlie Brown, Winnie the Pooh, Pink Panther, etc. I like the simplicity, the hand drawn style, the imperfection, and the nostalgic vibe. I don’t want to rely on computer renderings or 3D models or any of that. I am aware that this is risky, and I might not be that successful, but I have to try.
