Plateau - flat, elevated landform

Rainforest - tall trees, mostly evergreen, with high amounts of rainfall. \n Adaptation - the process of change

Infrastructure - organization of a society or corporation. 

Irrigation - to water crops by other resources other than rainfall.

Mining - taking useful minerals from the earth.

Cultural blending - change to a group after interacting with another culture.

Institutions - a society founded by religion, education, or social reasons.

Multicultural - made up of several different cultures

Philosophical - the study of knowledge and reality.

Geography - the study of the physical features of the earth.

Latitude - north and south of the equator
