PIP six month follow up project

  1. In managing my employees' performance, I used the planning function to set clear goals and expectations for the team and guarantee that they aligned with the organization's overall objectives. For example, at the start of each quarter, I set specific performance objectives for each employee, defining measurable outcomes and the steps necessary to achieve them. This implemented regular meetings to track progress and address any obstacles. By planning ahead, I was able to anticipate challenges as a burden to manage. This structured approach helped my team stay focused and motivated, which improved their overall performance.

  2. In managing my classmates' performance, I used the organizing function by sharing tasks so that everyone could meet their responsibilities. For example, I determined each person's strengths and abilities in the group and assigned tasks based on their knowledge, which helped everyone feel more comfortable with what they were required to do. I also made sure we had all the necessary resources, such as study materials and tools, to be able to work well. By organizing the work in this way, everyone was able to focus on their specific tasks, which resulted in improved group performance. We also had regular meetings to ensure everyone was aware of each other's progress and to resolve any problems that came up.

  3. I utilized the motivated leadership function and guided the team to achieve our goals and improve performance. For example, I made sure to clearly communicate expectations and objectives, while also providing positive reinforcement when someone did a good job. I had frequent private conversations to offer support, listen to concerns, and provide helpful advice. I also worked to create a positive environment by recognizing and celebrating individual and group achievements, which increased motivation and created a sense of responsibility for tasks. By leading in this manner, I was able to motivate my team, raise their confidence, and ultimately improve the group's performance.

  4. I used the control function to monitor progress, evaluate results, and make adjustments when necessary to meet our goals. Example: I set performance standards and held periodic reviews to ensure we were on track. If I noticed someone struggling to meet expectations, I provided feedback and suggestions for improvement. I also analyzed our performance on tasks and suggested solutions, such as reviewing certain topics or seeking more resources. By monitoring progress and making changes when necessary, I was able to help my group stay focused and achieve better results.
