Surface area versus volume

surface area (SA): outside of the 3D shape, we calculate the area of all faces, we use cm², m², etc…

Volume (V): inside of the 3D shape, we do not need to do each face, we use cm³, m³, etc..

volume of a cuboid:

Volume = area of face × depth

Volume = length × width × height
