Factors that influence the rate of population change

- A growing population needs food supply
- The agricultural revolution increased population growth because it made more food available
- Machinery ad new farming methods = produce more food
- Fertilisers and pesticides = grow more crops = less chance of famine
- Lowers the death rate
- In Sierra Leone people don’t get the necessary nutrition so the poplation is vunerable to disease
