Hypothetical intelligence that surpasses humans
Examples of text generative systems: Chapt GPT, Claude, Gemini
Example of image generative systems: Dalle, designer, firefly
Example of video generative systems: Sora
Amplitude: the number of molecules that are moved by a vibration
Frequency range:
Bass: 10hz - 256hz -> associated with power and fullness
Midrange: 256 - 2,050Hz -> most of sound origin (LOWER)
2,050 - 5,000hz -> fundamentals of speech frequencies (UPPER MIDRANGE)
Treble: 5,000 - 20,000hz -> sparkle and clarity
CPS: cycles per second, how frequency is measured
Dynamic range: difference in the space between quietness and loudness
Frequency: determined by the length of the waveform and measured from the beginning of one cycle to the beginning of the next (CPS and Hz)
Hertz: CPS is expressed in Hz - 1CPS=1HZ
Human dynamic range: 0db - 140db, 85+ causes damage, 100db avoid, 120db threshold of pain, 140 db ears bleed
Human hearing frequency range: 20-20,000 hz
Psychographics: groups of people by their likes and interests
Sound envelope: describes the way the amplitude of the sound varies - Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release
Sound Level Pressure: amplitude is measured in SPL and expressed in decibels. Sound is measured on a logarithmic scale
Stinger: short piece of music or sound that makes the beginning of a segment (transition)
