  • Sales Reps:

    • Splitting sales reps between two managers for better focus.

  • Drivers:

    • Two new drivers on OTR routes, tracking well.
    • Josh Burgess rehired, starting Monday.
    • PTO is expected to be lighter next week.
    • Offer made to a former Sigma driver in Kentucky wanting to relocate to Ohio.
    • Drivers coming out of training are expected to be good.
    • Potential to reach 57 drivers, allowing for Wednesday coverage.
    • Tracking progress of six new hires from late July/early August.

Social Media Campaign

  • Campaign update:
    • 86 link clicks, reached 4,200 people, 6,700 impressions.
    • Targeting people with CDL or truck driving experience within a 50-mile radius.
    • Most resumes still coming from Tenth Street or Indeed.
    • Campaign running through the 18th with a 120120 budget (1010/day).

Employee Initiatives

  • Culture Change:
    • Discussion about employee of the month/quarter with a meaningful reward (e.g., 100100 gift card).
    • SLT gave the green light for this initiative.
    • Aims to formally recognize employees who step up and go the extra mile.
    • Marketing meeting needed for employee initiatives to ensure consistency and support.

  • Team Status:
    • Still need a couple of inbound team members.

SLT Priority List

  • Oro/Pepper:

    • Considering cutting off Oro for customers who haven't switched to Pepper.
    • Tracking 148 active fires in the last 30 days, 131 in the last 7 days.
    • Sales reps instructed to get all customers signed up for Pepper.
    • Setting a deadline after which Oro orders will no longer be accepted.
    • Minimum order requirement is working; orders below 1,0001,000 are flagged to sales reps.
    • Orders under 1,0001,000 ship with a 5050 fee for the next six months.
    • Goal is to eventually move all customers to orders over 1,0001,000.
    • Addressing concerns about credits and returns to avoid fee avoidance.
  • Inside Sales Support:

    • Including merchandising and vendor cost issues related to off-invoice specials.
    • Need to identify when issues are vendor-related.
    • Whitney sends weekly shrinkage report to Kenny and Marquillo.

    • Vendor setup for pineapple juice put on hold pending further discussion.

    • Cannot transfer for inactive items.
    • Considering setting items to "no sales" to prevent them from showing up in Oro.
    • Checking if vendor returns count as sales under the "no sales" setting.
  • Spices:

    • Transitioning over spices; each's and subbing issues resolved.
    • Setting up the each sub also.
    • No issues reported with pricing or new labels.

Salt Procurement

  • ProVille Salt:

    • Buying Salt Direct in truckloads to save approximately 19,00019,000 per year.
    • Charlie to backhaul out of Akron.
    • Will increase inventory slightly.
  • Sugar:

    • Considering buying Cargill sugar direct from Atlanta in 50-pound bags.
    • Checking pickup address to ensure it's not in downtown Atlanta.

Coke Bottler Issues

  • Unipro and Kuna:

    • Reaching out to Unipro to see how others handle Coke deliveries.
    • Kuna doesn't buy enough Coke to have the same issues.
  • Coke Direct:

    • Contacting Coke directly to find out how other distributors handle the shaky and damaged product.
    • Not enough people sell as much Coke to have the same issues.
    • Trying different movement and pick paths but facing challenges with density.
  • Member Exchange:

    • Considering using Unipro's member exchange to ask other distributors about Coke handling.

Unipro Compensation Report:

  • Compensation Data:
    • Unable to access Unipro's compensation report without participating in the survey.
    • Considering purchasing it for around 900900 to see driver and warehouse compensation packages.

  • Dry Endocrine Reduction:
    • Need to sit down and discuss pizza boxes and limited-time offer (LTO) guidelines.
    • Changing pizza box vendor to case makers.

  • Warehouse Space:
    • DART drops are labor-intensive but help with space management.
