Paralegal Intro topic 2 #2

  1. The job I found on Linkedin is for an entry level patent paralegal. The job duties require filing and maintaining patents, monitoring submissions and updating online records. There was no salary information on this listing. Entry level paralegals in my area are different because it’s smaller firms, and less competition. It would be a much smaller team compared to the listings on Linkedin.

I researched Paralegal jobs in England. The first job I chose was a contract paralegal. For this job, I would have to manage documents, offer contract support, and manage intake of NDA forms. To be qualified, I would need experience in this field, be familiar with private markets, and be fast and organized. There is no salary information posted.

The second job I found is on a commercial team that manages technology that is used when making online payments (think Ebay, Uber, Spotify, etc). For this job, it involves managing and negotiating contract deals with other companies, advising to support shareholders, helping with company expansion, and use online tools. The qualifications include having 2 years of paralegal experience, and some type of degree. The Salary is not listed.

The third job is a paralegal for the Court of Protection. For this job, I would be required to travel, manage caseloads, prepare files and correspondence, market the company services, and set standards. There is no salary or qualifications listed.
