Ishihara Color Test

• The Ishihara color test is used to test for color blindness.
• People with normal vision should see the number "74" on a properly configured computer display.
• Many people who are color blind see it as "21".
• Those with total color blindness may not see any numbers.

Hearing Loss

• There are three major forms of hearing loss:
  • Presbycusis
  • Conductive deafness
  • Sensorineural hearing loss

Conductive Deafness

• Hearing loss is caused by something that stops sounds from getting through the outer or middle ear.
• This type of hearing loss can often be treated with medicine or surgery.
• Interferes with the conduction of vibrations in the air.
