    • My thesis is debatable because it takes a stance on how media affects communication and emotions, which can be argued either way. Some might say social media helps people connect, while others, like the sources I’ve used, argue it harms communication. I believe my thesis is believable because I’m using credible sources, like articles and TEDx talks, to support my claim that media and social platforms impact how we communicate and feel. Lastly, my thesis is important because understanding how media affects communication and emotions matters in real life, for individuals, families, and society, especially as online communication becomes normalized.

    • Each subheading in my work is balanced. I explain key ideas, support them with relevant sources, and offer my own analysis. For example, I discuss how the lack of non-verbal cues causes misunderstandings, the influence of media figures on perceptions of truth, the impact of echo chambers on communication, and the limitations of positive language in addressing deeper emotional issues.

    • In my conclusion, I explain how different groups are affected by these communication issues. Social media users struggle with the lack of non-verbal cues, false information from authority figures, and echo chambers. . I also bring up how communities are becoming more divided online and stress the need for more thoughtful and inclusive communication.

    Outlining has several strengths, like helping organize ideas clearly, keeping you focused, and ensuring clarity by highlighting gaps in logic. It also makes the writing process more efficient. However, it can have drawbacks, such as being too rigid, leading to over-planning, or stifling creativity by making the writing feel too structured.
