Death Bondage/Bonded Labor- people work under the person who gave utang to the person that nagpautang to them just to pay the rest of the debt

• if the debt is so large, and the person who works under them is dying, their succeeding children will substitute them

Chattel Slavery- people are treated as personal properties and sold as commodities

• it becomes human trafficking when people are being sold/treated for sexual motives

Forced labor- Forced to work agains his or her will due to threats

Estate System- characterized by control of land

• has to classes- landed nobility and surfs/peasants

  • Peasants have more liberty than slaves, but the peasants are still under the nobilities control and love in poverty
