Physics - Scalar and Vector

Scalar Quantity - The physical quantity with magnitude and no direction. Eg. Mass, Speed, Distance, Volume, Time, Density

Vector Quantity - The physical quantity that has both magnitude and direction. Eg. Force, Acceleration, Velocity, Weight

Adding Vectors: 1. In different direction same force, Resultant Force = 0N
2. In different directions, diff force = Resultant Force = F1+(-F2) to the _
2. In same direction different force = Resultant Force = F1+F2

Tip-To-Tail Addition - 1. Draw an arrow representing the first vector
2. Draw second vector from the first vector head
3. Resultant Force = Draw a line from first vector tail to second vector head.

Parallelogram Rule - 1. Start from a point and draw 2 vectors
2. Draw 2 more vectors to make a parallelogram
3. Resultant Force = Draw a line in the middle and measure the angle.
