Cell Structure

  1. Cell Membrane: Thin, flexible barrier that surrounds the cell, controlling the movement of substances in and out of the cell.
  2. Cytoplasm: Gel-like substance that fills the cell, containing various organelles and facilitating cellular processes.
  3. Nucleus: Control center of the cell, containing genetic material (DNA) that regulates cell activities.

  7. Lysosomes: Membrane-bound organelles containing digestive enzymes that break down waste materials and cellular debris.
  8. Vacuoles: Fluid-filled sacs involved in storage of water, nutrients, and waste products.
  9. Ribosomes: Small structures responsible for protein synthesis.
