Slope Intercept Form

How is it written?

Y=mx+b

  • M stands for slope
  • B stand forms Y intercept

Here you see that the points stop’s at -4 which would be our Y intercept. (Plug this in for b)

Get two points and subtract! ex- our two points are (0,-4) and (1,-2) which we later subtract them both, 0 is x1 and -4 is y1. 1 is x2, and -2 is y2.

-4--2 (double neg turns into +) -2+4

0-1

Our slope is 2/1
