DBQs
(What to know)
Of course you never know exactly which period your dbq will come from, but the more common periods are 3, 4, 6, or 7. Generally, students should prepare by familiarizing themselves with key themes and events from these periods, as well as practicing how to analyze primary sources effectively.
If you’re short on time, prioritize:
Revolution/Constitution (P3)
Jackson/market revolution (P4)
Industrialization/Reconstruction (P6)
Progressive/New Deal/WWII (P7)
If tested on these periods, prioritizing these events from the periods should provide a good understanding for your DBQ.
