• Comment dit-on ou comment on dit?

• «“On usually means "we" in everyday spoken French, replacing the formal pronoun nous. It can also mean "one," "people in general," or an unspecified "someone”»

  • So on can be used to mean we, one, or even you???

  • Difference between on and nous? When do I use which one

  • So for example (Donc, par exemple/alors, par exemple?) we have comment dit-on. What are other examples of “on” being used?

  • Why do people use “on” to replaces nous (we) ?

• On conjugates like a third person subject. However it cannot be used to refer to things that aren’t human. It requires a personal subject/human, so we cannot use it in order to say “There is”

  • So I cannot say “On est une fille ici”

  • So how do I say “There is"? Online they are saying “Il y a”

• How do I say someone?

  • How do I say “someone is here”, “someone ate here before me”

• For pas, plus, jamais, rien, how do I know where to place them in the sentences. Can we practice this/On peut pratiquer ça?

• Ça, ce, c’est, cetait, s’est ?

  • I’m so confused/Je suis perdue

  • Est-ce que? Why not just “est que”, why not “c’est que”?

• Im looking at verbs that use être in passe compose. For example for the verb aller, you have to change allé based on whether the subject is feminine or masculine and whether it is plural. Je suis alleé. Elles sont allées. But then they are saying if there is a direct object after, those things don’t apply. Je suis allé au parc. Elles sont allé au parc.

  • On peut practiquer ça?
