Laws of Hammurabi (1)

The Prologue talks about how the gods Anu and Enlil gave Marduk power over the land and chose Hammurabi to bring justice. Marduk is honored by the gods, and Babylon is called the best city. Hammurabi's job is to make sure justice is upheld, stop wrongdoing, and protect those who are weak.
