Naming compounds
metals = just that name of the metal
Al = Aluminium
Ag = Silver
compounds = names of the ions. note → non-metal anions have “ide” suffix
Ca2S = Calcium Sulfide
Li2O = Lithium Oxide
Ca3P2 = Calcium Phosphide
