Plaintiffs: Carmen Lopez et al. (collectively referred to as Lopez) are the plaintiffs bringing the lawsuit against the bus service.
Notice: The use of "et al." indicates that there are other parties involved in the lawsuit.
Key Legal Terms
Plaintiff: The party who initiates the lawsuit. This can be an individual or group bringing the case to court.
Defendant: The party being sued or accused in a legal case.
Respondent: Often used to refer to the defendant, particularly in appellate cases. This term is not universally applicable to all cases.
