Hervé Schlüchter Notes

Hervé Schlüchter is a Swiss independent watchmaker known for his philosophical approach to horology and dedication to traditional craftsmanship.
Born in the Swiss Jura, he studied watchmaking in Porrentruy.
2000: Began his career at Bovet.
Eventually became the director of Dimier 1738, Bovet’s manufacturing arm.
2016: Following the loss of his father and the birth of his son, Schlüchter reevaluated his life's direction.
2017: Established his own atelier in Biel/Bienne.
Mentored by master watchmaker Philippe Dufour, where he honed his skills in traditional watchmaking techniques.

2023: Introduced his first timepiece, the "L’Essentiel."
