Plant Tissues Overview

The organisms in the Kingdom Plantae are composed of eukaryotic cells. Plants are multicellular and exhibit tissue differentiation, where cells are organized into specialized tissues that serve specific functions. Development and Growth in Plants

The development of plants involves continuous groups of differentiated and specialized tissues that connect various sections of the plant, such as roots, stems, leaves, and sometimes flowers. This connection is crucial for normal growth and development, which relies on the distribution of essential materials like air, food, and other nutrients throughout the organism. Growth involves:
