proposed for several training programmes but without success 

had lots of innovation designs as was typical of miles 

m100 student 2 registered g-mioo badly damaged in crash 1985 in duxford. pilot peter hoare pronounced clinically dead for 20 mins but resusicated made a full recovery and now flies airbuses 

accident caused by engine failure on take off probz due to separation of one of the turbine blades 

restored by team of volunteers many of whom were involved in restoration of herald 

less costly to buy and operate than jet provost which was then being prepared for raf 

started development in 1953
