organelles

•Cytoskeleton - “Skelton” provides cell structure to maintain its shape and aids in movement within the cell

•Chloroplast - “Solar panels” of the cell Capture sunlight and use it to create energy through photosynthesis

•Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER) - “Gym bro” Creates and modifies the proteins that the cell will use proteins are important for structure, enzyme activity (most enzymes are proteins) and storage

•Golgi Apparatus - “Amazon warehouse” , Modofies, stores and packages proteins and lipids for other organelles

•Lysosome - “trash can”, contains enzymes for digestion, waste processing, and recycling of cellular respiration

•Mitochondrion - the “power house” of the cell, generates ATP

•Nucleus - the “brain” of the cell, where the DNA is stored and activates growth

•Peroxisome - “clean up crew” of the cell, They break down harmful substances, into harmless molecules like water and oxygen.

Ribosomes - “factories” of the cell , They take instructions from the cell’s DNA and use them to assemble amino acids into proteins, which are needed for many of the cell’s functions, found on rough ER and free floating in the cytoplasm

Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER) - “Lipid loving”, Deals with the synthesis of lipids, and detoxification & calcium storage
