Steps

Remove the new piece from the lab package, disinfect and rinse to prepare for trying
seat patient
PPE
dentist places the new piece into the patient’s mouth
patient is instructed to close their teeth together
check occlusion with articulating paper- chewing motion,
To detect pressure points that could cause discomfort, place pressure indicator paste on the back
Retainers are checked for tension
denture is polished with pastes and sterile buffing wheels
Scrub denture with soap, water, and a brush
Instruct the patient on placement, removal, and care of the partial denture
