Outsourcing, Offshoring and Exam Timing
Outsourcing
- Relocating a company outside of the country for better profitability.
- Example: Chloe starts a company and moves it to South Africa for better profits.
- The entire "node" (company) moves, sourcing out jobs and products.
Offshoring
- Moving a single job across international lines to another place, often to reduce labor costs.
- Example: Melanie calls a service line and someone from India answers.
