Math 6 —Ratio, and Rates

Ratios – A comparison or relationship between two numbers by division.

Note:

[Fractions and ratios are the same, used differently]

Example: 3 dogs: 2 cats = 3:2

Rates – A ratio commonly associated by time.

Example: 210km/5hrs.

We can apply Ratios and Rates in real life such as Aspect Ratios, Comparing objects, and many more.
