A contagious disease (also called a communicable disease) are diseases that is capable of being spread from one person to another

Some more prevalent contagious disease that prevent a beauty professional from servicing a client are:

• Common cold

• Conjunctivitis (Pink eye)

• Ringworm

And viral infections

Contagious disease can also be spread by:

• Contaminated implements

• Cuts

• Infected nails

• Open spores

• Pus

• Mouth and nose discharge

• Shared drinking cups

• Telephone receivers,

• and Towels.
