Ideal Gas Laws

Equations

PV = nRT

P1V1 / T1 = P2V2 / T2

n is # of mols

R = 8.31 J / mol * K

isothermal - constant temperature

isobaric - constant pressure

isochoric - constant volume

on a pressure vs volume graph, to figure out which has a higher temp, find the largest area

volume and pressure are inversely proportional

volume increases → pressure decreases

pressure increases → volume decreases

doubling or tripling the Celsius amount of the temperature doesn’t double or triple the pressure, when converted to kelvin its a small increase
