Asking: 1. Is it moving? 2. Is it getting faster or slower?
Position: tells us where something is in space, RELATIVE to some other thing
Displacement: how far something has moved relative to its initial position
Velocity: displacement over time (m/s)
Acceleration: change in velocity (m/s²)

Asking: Why is it moving? Why is it getting faster or slower?
∑F =ma
a = ∑F/m
Examples:
Standing
∑F=ma
we a mass, but no acceleration so ∑F=O
Rising
∑F=ma
a = vf- vi /time
(0.5 m/s - 0 m/s)/1sec = +0.5 m/s²
∑F=m(0.5m/s²)
