Structure 1: Affirmative and Negative Adjectives

Structure 2: Describing Colours
Format: [Person + 的 + facial part + 是 + colour + 的 + (吗?)]
Examples:
他的眼睛是绿色的。 (His eyes are green.)
你的头发是黄色的吗? (Is your hair yellow?)
谁的眉毛是棕色的? (Whose eyebrows are brown?)
Structure 3: Possession of Features
Format: [Person + 有 + adjective/colour + (单) + facial part + (吗?)]
The "的" Rule: The particle "的" is used if the adjective or the colour word consists of at least characters. It is generally omitted for single-character adjectives.
Examples:
他有长头发。 (He has long hair.) [Note: "长" is character, so no "的"]
我的爸爸有黑色的眼睛。 (My dad has black eyes.) [Note: "黑色" is characters, so "的" is used]
我的朋友有好看的嘴巴。 (My friend has a good-looking mouth.)
他们有棕色的眼睛和黑色的头发吗? (Do they have brown eyes and black hair?)
Structure 4: Combining Adjectives and Colours
Rule A: Colour + 的 + character adjective + noun
Example: 绿色的大眼睛 (Green big eyes)
Example: 粉红色的小脸 (Pink small face)
Rule B: Colour + 的 + character adjective + 的 + noun
Example: 紫色的好看的头发 (Purple good-looking hair)
