Too much = schizophrenia 

too little = tremors and decreased mobility in Parkinson’s disease 

Serotonin

affects mood, hunger, sleep and dreaming, pain regulation, and arousal 

undersupply linked to Depression 

Norepinephrine

helps control alertness and arousal

undersupply depresses mood 

GABA (Gamma_amniobutyric acid)

major inhibitory neurotransmitter 

undersupply linked to seizures, tremors, and insomnia 

Glutamate

a major excitatory neurotransmitters, involved in memory and learning

oversupply = overstimulated brain causing migraines and seizures.
