• Constants: Values that do not change within a given context.

• Variables: Characteristics or conditions that can take on different values.

• Moderating Variable: A variable that affects the strength or direction of the relationship between independent and dependent variables.

• Mediating Variable: A variable that explains the mechanism through which the independent variable affects the dependent variable.

• Dichotomous/Continuous Variables: Dichotomous variables have two categories; continuous variables have a range of numeric values.
