Adding a focal point through framing shows a viewer exactly where to look
Doorways and windows make good frames but be creative
BACKGROUND ELEMENTS- can frame your subject and draw your eyes to the brightest part of the photo. Lenses like fish-eye lenses or wide-angle lenses, can create interesting effects
PHOTOGRAPHS
Neutral background
Natural frames e.g. hair, parts of the body like hands etc. can really help to frame the face
Contrasting colours between the frame and subject are helpful
Props for leading line, communicates the narrative
Represent person in different ways but target the same audience; through angle, composition, shot type, costumes, props
