Serology
  • Definition: A broad scope of laboratory tests that utilize specific antigen and serum antibody reactions to detect substances like blood.

Basic Concepts of Blood

  • Main Components:

    • Erythrocytes (Red Blood Cells): Transport oxygen from lungs to tissues.
