Emotional Wellness

Occupational Wellness

Relates to finding satisfaction and fulfillment in one’s work or chosen vocation. It involves maintaining a healthy work-like balance, pursuing career growth and development, and experiencing a sense of purpose ad satisfaction in one’s professional life.

Intellectual Wellness

Relates to the active engagement of the mind through continuous learning, critical thinking, creativity, and pursuing personal interests. It involves expanding knowledge, honing skills, and staying mentally stimulated.

Environmental Wellness

Involves recognizing and taking responsibility for the impact of one’s actions on the environment. It includes aspects such as practicing sustainability, minimizing waste, promoting clean and safe surroundings, and appreciating and connecting with nature.

Financial Wellness

Refers to the state of an individual’s overall financial health and well-being. It encompasses various aspects of financial management, including the ability to meet financial obligations, make informed financial decisions, and maintain financial stability.

Social Wellness

Focuses on building and maintaining healthy relationships, fostering a sense of belonging, and effectively interacting with others. It involves developing strong interpersonal skills, fostering meaningful connections, and contributing to one’s community.

Physical Wellness

The state of a person’s physical health and encompasses aspects such as regular exercise, proper nutrition, adequate sleep, and avoiding harmful habits.

Spiritual Wellness

Pertains to finding purpose, meaning, and values in life. It may involve seeking inner peace, practicing mindfulness or meditation, connecting with a higher power, or exploring one’s personal beliefs and values.

Self-Care

Self-care can be defined as a deliberate and intentional practice of taking care of one’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. It involves engaging in activities and behaviors that promote self-nurturance, rejuvenation, and overall personal well-being. Self-care is a proactive approach to maintaining and enhancing one’s health, happiness, and quality of life.

By prioritizing self-care, individuals can recharge, prevent burnout, and enhance their ability to cope with life’s challenges effectively. it is a continuous and ongoing process that requires self-awareness, self-compassion, and making choices that promote self-nurturance and personal growth.
