First Semester (Harmattan) Academic Schedule 2025/2026

  • Monday, 10th November, 2025: Official resumption for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, applicable to Fresh Students only.
  • Monday, 10th November – Thursday, 13th November, 2025: Scheduled Orientation program for all Fresh Students.
  • Friday, 14th November, 2025: Official end of Annual Leave period for Academic Staff.
  • Monday, 17th November, 2025: Official resumption for the 2025/2026 Academic Session for all Returning Students.
  • Monday, 17th November, 2025: General commencement of lectures and the opening of online registration for the Harmattan Semester for all students (Fresh and Returning).
  • Thursday, 4th December, 2025: Matriculation ceremony for Fresh Students.
  • Monday, 22nd December, 2025 – Sunday, 4th January, 2026: Official Christmas and New Year holiday break.
  • Monday, 5th January, 2026: Resumption of academic activities following the New Year break and continuation of lectures.
  • Friday, 27th February, 2026: Designated Lecture Free Week.

  • Friday, 1st May, 2026: Deadline for standard registration; late registration begins for students and includes a penalty fee.
  • Friday, 8th May, 2026: Final closure of the e-portal for student registration.
  • Friday, 3rd July, 2026: Official conclusion of lectures for the Rain Semester.
  • Monday, 6th July – Friday, 10th July, 2026: Designated Lecture Free Week for all students.
