Appendicular Skeleton

  • Bunion: A bony bump that forms on the joint at the base of the big toe, causing the toe to deviate inward. It often results from wearing tight or ill-fitting shoes, arthritis, or genetic factors.

  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: A condition caused by compression of the median nerve as it passes through the carpal tunnel in the wrist, leading to symptoms like numbness, tingling, weakness, or pain in the hand and fingers.

  • Forensic Anthropology: The application of physical anthropology to legal investigations, involving the analysis of human skeletal remains to determine identity, cause of death, and other information relevant to solving crimes.

  • Forensic Pathology: A branch of pathology focused on determining the cause and manner of death through autopsy and examination of tissues, often in legal contexts involving sudden, unexpected, or violent deaths.
