Quran Class 21/9

  • On the day of judgement, there will be no shade and the sun will be so low that it will be so hot.

  • 1,500 years it will take for the day of judgement

  • The youth who looked after their nafs, they will have shade on the day of judgement.

  • 7 types of people who will be shaded on the day of judgement where it has no shade except Allah’s throne

    1. a just leader - who rules with fairness and justice (can apply in house, government, schools etc)

    2. a youth who spent their youth in the worship in Allah (youth is from puberty till 40 years old)

    3. The people who have their hearts connected to the masjid/places of worship (can be women too)

    4. People who are genuinely in love for the sake of Allah

    5. People who resist bad things because of the fear of Allah

    6. People who give charity so secretly that their left. hand doesn’t even know

    7. When someone remembers Allah in secret and they are tearful

  • Maryum AS is portrayed as a role model for women and men because she guarded her chastity

  • Sajda is a sign of submission to Allah (43.3)

    • Anyone who is powerful, very pretty or anything, we should worship. and remember Allah

  • Without Allah’s help, we don’t have Ilm. As Allah knows all.

  • (44.3) Many people who wanted to be Maryum’s guardian they started to fight over to be her guardian, that’s how pious she was.

  • (45.3) Messiah as title, can be as wiping clean as he could clean the diseases, can also be cleaning world? Isa son of Maryum because he is only her son, not gods, not a mans, but only hers

    • giving reassurance to Maryum as he was born out of wedlock, but Allah reassures her telling her that he will be closest to Allah, physically and in the Jannat al Firdous and be honoured in this life and the next

  • 47.3 has no man, but Allah said Be and it has happened. She was questioning, that will I get married or will I have a relation with a man, but Allah said no you will have a child as a virigin, as Allah is the creator and will create as he pleases

  • 46.3 when he’s an infant and born, he will talk to people (e.g when he talked to people who were slandering Maryum when he was in their hold 30-33), and as a grown up (referring to when he will be brought back to the world, he will come back the same time and age) he will be righteous

  • 48.3 Allah had taught Isa the original wisdom, ilm, of the Torah as it had been corrupted and it had do’s and don’ts only and it had no wisdom, that’s why isa came and gave the gospel which had spirit and which had reasons why to do these rules. Every law, has wisdom behind it and a reason why.

    • we should follow in letter and spirit

    • Quran is for the humans, and Allah has taught humans slowly instead of all at once

  • All these events we will see, if not our children will, therefore very important to study

  • 49.3 he could heal the blind, the leper and will bring dead back to life, bring life to things, he can see the hidden things in houses and what you have eaten today in your belly but he is a human at the end of the day and will die, both his private and public life pious.

    • For christians to reflect and ponder, as they need to understand that he is a human at the end of the day, even if Isa AS has divine power to bring life to anything.

    • Yahya and Isa AS where contemporaries, Yahya will be a nabii (can be killed but rasool cannot) and Isa will be a rasool of bani Israel only.

    • Isa AS came to bani isreal to give the second reasons

    • Nowadays, the chrisitianity that is here is a complete opposite of Isa AS teachings

    • Greatest miracles was given to Isa AS

    • This is a sign for the believers as a last chance if you are a true believer as it is enough of a sign to confirm and restore the real form of the Torah

      • The people used to put on themeselves more harams then usual (e.g. jews have resticted themselves too much by not mixing poultry and dairy should never mixed and and they go extreme with it, e.g. a mother cannot make prayer for a child sick because it is a worldly action) Allah did not tell them to do this, their predecessors did.

        • That is why Isa AS came as a restorer of the truth and laws, came to ease the laws that they put on themselves

        • But they did not accept him and till this day they still have these harsh law on themselves

          • on the other hand, the Christians then used the easiest laws that Isa AS potrayed.
