Regular Verb Conjugation

Conjugation means to change. In Spanish we change the endings of verbs in order to show who is doing the action and when it happens.

There are three types of verbs in Spanish: -ar, -er, and -ir.

How do we conjugate a verb?

  1. Remove the Ending ——— escuchar —> escuch

  2. Determine who is doing the action

  3. Add the correct Ending

nosotros = amos

tú = as

vosotros = aís

ellos

ellas = an

ustedes


-ER verb endings
