Findings:

• first arrIved to UK
  • severe delayed intellectual development
• 11-16 years old
  • significant variety of development
• adopted before 6 months
  • at 16 - IQ = 102
• adopted between 6 months - 2 years old
  • at 16 - IQ = 86
• adopted around 2 years and above (privation)
  • at 16 - IQ = 70
