spanish003 week 4
the present perfect is formed by combining a helping verb “have” or “has” with a past participle
ex) I have played tennis
ex) She has sung at weddings
ex) We have flown in a plane
In English, we combine have/has with past participle
In spanish, er combine present tense of a verb with a past participle
ex) Yo he bailado (I have danced)
ex) Nosotros no hemos estudiado para el examen (We haven’t studied for the exam)
-AR → -ado
-ER/-IR → -ido
ir itself does not have an irregular form it would just be ido as a past participle
