    • 6 samples of writing that you have read and your critical reflection on that)

    • 200 words per source APA 7 format

    • engage in a range of source typologies (textbooks, articles, videos), understanding how different sources share value in different ways, and reflect on how you interacted with each source

    • something to retrieve, summing up your understanding of the text and considering why its relevant to your project

    • who wrote it, what was their angle, and why is it important in its context

    • recognition of oral histories is important (webinar recordings are useful)

    • helping us to capture things we read as a snapshot so we can retrieve it later in future projects

    • should not have more than 3 from the reading list given to us each week so needs some other sources from elsewhere

  • Full reference in APA 7 then annotation of 200 words underneath it, 3 key parts in this which is what is it/who its written and published by, what’s the angle, how it is it useful (what does it offer you/key insights you learnt that are relevant to this course and wananga)

  • second part 1500 word illustrated essay about your wananga project, contextualising what is the project, why you’re doing the project, how you’ve done it (how have you landed it)

    • positioning project in physical and theoretical context that it draws on a certain element and how have has the architecture responded to that

    • using both text and imagery to communicate work using APA 7 for referencing and images

    • literature review positions wananga design project, contextualising it,

    • briefly communicates the project to show how your design is responding to the ideas of the annotated bibliography, researching through design work aswell which should connect to the things you know

    • underpin the importance of architecture as a way of being conscious architects of the built environment

    • diagramatic source that helps tell story can be useful just reference sources correctly

  • academic integrity unit is online learning module on canvas needs to be completed do it now or after session

  • Due end of week 14 (Friday 7th November)

    • writing over next few weeks to include development, critical reflection from feedback as part of the review
