Exam Overview

  • The exam consists of 60 questions.
  • There are five questions from each of the 12 topics.
  • The exam duration is one hour and forty minutes (100 minutes).
  • It is a closed book exam. Time will be lost if you try to look up answers.

Case Study Topics

  • Case studies will be included in the following topics:
    • Learning
    • Health Stress and Coping
    • Culture and Psychology
    • Organizational Psychology
    • Psychological Disorders
  • Each case study includes three multiple-choice questions related to the case.
  • Two additional application-based questions are included per topic but are not related to the case study.
  • Total of 25 questions from these topics: (5 topics×3 case study questions)+(5 topics×2 other questions)=25 questions(5 \text{ topics} \times 3 \text{ case study questions}) + (5 \text{ topics} \times 2 \text{ other questions}) = 25 \text{ questions}

Non-Case Study Topics

  • The remaining seven topics will have five multiple-choice questions each, without case studies.

Things Not Needed for the Exam

  • Camera (exam is unsupervised).
  • Textbook (closed book exam).
  • Paper, pencil, pen, notes.
  • Taking photos of the exam is illegal.

Day of the Exam

  • Check the exam date, day, and time.
  • Prepare your computer well before the exam.
  • Log in to the e-assessment platform ten minutes before the scheduled exam time.
  • Use student username and password to access the unit's e-exam.
  • Exam link will be available two business days before the scheduled exam.
  • No extra time will be given for late starts.

Exam Process

  • Copy and paste the e-exam link into the incognito window in Chrome.
  • Follow the prompts.
  • Refresh the page at the scheduled exam time to start.
  • The start button will turn blue when the exam is available.
  • Once started, the exam must be completed within one hour and forty minutes.
  • Manage your time carefully.
  • Submit the exam after completion or when the time expires.

Exam Difficulties

  • Contact exam support for any technical difficulties.
  • Responses are automatically saved every 30 seconds.
  • Ensure a stable internet connection.
  • Consider using the university's internet if unsure about home connection.
