in chinese there is a Sae Yit ceremony - honors a man in 16 bithday and Ceremony of Leaving the Garden which 15 yo end childhood

but in Thai they celebrate every year

WK ask TSU to join his friend, Huang to his bd party

Huang is chinese (13yo older than WK by a year) and his father doesnt make a big deal abt him throwing a party like the thais

Haung seems to only hang out with the rich kid which is why WK only got invited this year cz Hunag saw WK’s car

TSU try to reason WK abt wealth and material and stuff but yeah he’s a kid what much go in his head ehh

WK ask TSU if he can have a birthday party

TSU told him to wait till he’s 15 to have the ceremony of leaving the garden which consist of inviting monks and praying and giving charity

WK doesnt want that, he wants a party with games and cake

After returning from the party WK was very happy and excited and told it in detail to his sisters

TSU thought to himself that he will nvr allow them to have birthday parties or he would be a fool

He is surprised by MC because she is different from her sibling, when she wants clothes she goes to ME closet and take her mom clothes

MC respects her parents more and recently she gave present to her parents

she gives the cookies that her sibling ate and tuk jaol to poor kids

he say her thoughtfulness is unique in the household

the kid whom he loathe so much since birth has now guven him the most laughter and warmth and pleasure as a dad.
