Distiller Cleaning Procedures
Maintenance Schedule and Safety Protocols
Perform the cleaning procedure once a week on Fridays.
Unplug the machine before starting to prevent heating chemicals and releasing dangerous fumes into the air.
Cleaning and Preparation
Fill the distiller with hot water up to the designated fill line.
Add scoops of distiller cleaner into the container.
Place a "do not use maintenance in progress" sign on the unit.
Allow the mixture to sit overnight.
Scrubbing and Final Inspection
On Saturday morning, use a brush to gently scrub any brown material buildup inside the tank.
Empty the tank and rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove chemical residue.
Inspect the interior to ensure no residue remains before returning the signs and instructions to their storage place.
