Three Point Turn: Need a 20-40 foot space to turn around.
Approach of Crossing: Position in proper lane; look both directions before proceeding.
Observe Right-of-Way: Allow pedestrians, stop for emergency vehicles, and do not block intersections.
Straight-In Parking: Vehicle should be centered; no part extending into traffic.
Parking on a Grade: Correct techniques for uphill and downhill parking:
Downhill: Turn wheels toward curb.
Uphill with curb: Turn wheels from curb.
Uphill without curb: Turn wheels to right.
Stop Quickly: Safely stop when instructed by the examiner/agent.
Backing: Reverse for 50 feet slowly without using mirrors or camera.
Obey Stop Signs: Complete stop before stop line, yield until safe to proceed.
Obey Traffic Signals: Approach at a safe speed; do not enter until the intersection is clear.
Signal and Turn: Signal for last 100 feet; can use hand or mechanical signals.
Passing: Ensure clear view ahead and behind before passing.
Stay in Proper Lane: Drive in the right lane; change lanes only when safe.
Follow at a Safe Distance: Maintain a distance of three to four seconds behind other vehicles.
Use Proper Posture: Keep both hands on the steering wheel; do not rest elbow out the window.
