- Composed of series of frames that are shot uninterrupted
Types of Camera Shots:
Wide Shot - intended to the place
Long Shot- show the relationship of the character and the environment
Medium Shot (MS)- waist shot
Cowboy Shot (American Shot)- a bit larger than medium shot, mid-waist to right above their head.
Tight Close Up- actor’s face and shoulders
Detail Extreme Close Up (ECU)- only showing the eyes
Low - angle shot, camera looks up
High - camera looks down
Dutch- tilt
Over the Shoulders - placed above the back of the shoulder and head of the subject.
Cutaway- interruption of a continuously filmed action by inserting the view of something else.
Establishing shot- overview of a setting
