Variables

Independant Variable:

When we carry out an experiment we need to ensure it is a fair test. To do that, we only change one thing at a time.

Dependant Variable:

This is the thing that is measure. We are expecting this to change as a result of changes to the independant variable.

Control variables:

These are all the other variables that need to be kept the same . That way we know that changes to the dependant variable were caused by the changes to the independant variable.
